In addition\, selected service providers who bring expert advice\, support and services to facilitate effective cross border employment and living will be invited to join and attend functions. \n \nChapter Events are designed to create a relaxed environment for corporate members where they enjoy the company of their colleagues and fellow global mobility professionals without feeling they will be subject to aggressive marketing from service providers. There is no charge for corporate members. However\, supplier members will be charged an annual fee for membership and a per-meeting fee for attendance. Guest Speakers\n HEATHER RANGEL – Deloitte\n Heather has been with Deloitte Tax LLP for 10 years and working in international human resources for 14 years. She currently leads the West Region’s International Human Resources (IHR) practice and Global Mobility Transformation (GMT) practice within Global Employer Services. In this role\, Heather leads a team of professionals delivering global mobility solutions to clients mainly in the Technology and Media and Entertainment sectors. She focuses on strategy aligned mobility program design\; policy and process development\; and global compensation data management. Heather is fluent in English and Japanese.\n \n MITCHELL WEXLER – Fragomen\n Mitch oversees the day-to-day operations of Fragomen’s Irvine\, California office. His practice is quite diverse in that it is comprised of individual\, start up\, mid-size\, and large multi-national companies. Mitch’s clients are equally diverse across industry sectors including manufacturing\, pharmaceutical\, technology\, construction\, entertainment and more. Mitch is a member of the firm’s national Executive Committee. He also teaches an annual module on business immigration law at the University of California Irvine Law School. Mitch is a member of the California Bar Association.\n LOURDES HARSHE - Deloitte\n Lourdes is a Director at Deloitte Tax LLP with over 19 years of experience assisting companies in providing global mobility program management consulting and compliance services\, cross-border payroll and HR policy consulting. Her focus is on managing clients’ global workforce\, including design and implementation of global mobility compensation and tax reimbursement policies\, payroll delivery and effective tax planning. Utilizing Deloitte’s global network of offices\, she has significant experience providing cross border tax consulting and cost minimization. Lourdes is a Certified Public Accountant\, and has previously served her international clients by working in Belgium and Venezuela.\nThere is no charge for corporate members and there is a $150 charge per supplier\, per person assuming they have a valid Supplier Membership of $550.
